OpenEngSB Framework 3.0.0.M1 released (Stefan Scheiber - May 28, 2014)

OpenEngSB Framework 2.5.1 released (Andreas Pieber - July 11, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.5.1.
The first maintainance release of the 2.5.x branch fixes 10 important issues in all parts of the OpenEngSB. In addition a minor enhancement to our build cycle had been done.

OpenEngSB Framework 2.5.0 released (Andreas Pieber - May 03, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.5.0.
The fifth feature release of the openengsb framework contains, besides 32 bug fixes from the 2.4.x line, 6 new features, 5 deprecations and 15 improvements. First of all there's a new, better EDB handling via services available in 2.5.x which depricates the current EDB handling; next, by the removal of our object DB the IgnoreInQuery annotation is no longer required; because of some enhancements to the communictation it's no longer required to use the Event#getType method. Version 2.5.x allows the creation of workflows via files now; a general persistence interface; a marshling template creation UI and the configuration of the openwire and stomp ports via configuration files. Improvements had been done to the EDB, EKB, OpenEngSBModels, README, OpenEngSB core service; also we've corrected our source release to look more like an apache one. Looking at the most important libraries the framework includes new versions of Google Guava (11.0.1), Apache CXF (2.5.3), Paxexam Karaf (0.5.3), OPS4J Pax Exam (2.3.1), Apache Felix Gogo (0.10.0), Apache Felix Fileinstall (3.2.2), Apache Karaf (2.2.7), OPS4J Pax Wicket (0.7.8), Apache Wicket (1.4.20), Apache OpenJPA (2.2.0) and the Springframework (3.0.7).

OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.5 released (Andreas Pieber - Apr 29, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.5.
The fifth bug-fix release of the OpenEngSB Framework tons of issues internal and various issues by upgrading various libraries. The release fixes various errors in the documentation; fixed the permission error of the config directory; fixed various tests; a nullpointer exception in the EDB, and abstracted the primitives handling by using ClassUtils in commons-lang. This release is more stable by upgrading openengsb-root (v33), PaxExam Karaf (v0.5.3), Apache CXF (v2.5.3), Apache Karaf (v2.2.7), Pax Exam (v2.3.1), Apache Felix File Install (v3.2.2), OPS4J Pax Web (v1.0.9) and Apache Felix Gogo (v0.10.0). All in all we've reduced the number of known issues from 17 to 15.

OpenEngSB Labs Project - Pax Exam Karaf Testframework 0.5.3 released (Andreas Pieber - Apr 27, 2012)

OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.4 released (Andreas Pieber - Apr 11, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.4.
The fourth bug-fix release of the OpenEngSB Framework fixes duplicated distribution tags in the final assemblies, corrected the README file and enhanced our tests at various places. In addition it contains bug fix upgrades of Karaf (2.2.6) and Spring (3.0.7). Both increase the stability of this release.

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB 2.0.2.
The 2.0.2 release of the OpenEngSB contains various minor bug fixes in it's internal, mostly via the upgrade of the OpenEngSB framework. In addition we've upgraded bug-fix releases of CXF and Wicket. None of those fixes should have any effect of your experiences with the OpenEngSB.

OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.3 released (Andreas Pieber - Mar 29, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.2.
he third bug-fix release of the OpenEngSB framework corrects minor bugs in the remote communication. In addition some tests had been made more stable and some system.out errors in the workflow had been fixed. In addition we've upgraded Pax Wicket from 0.7.6 to 0.7.8 which increases the Wicket version to 1.4.20 and fixes a problem with the integration tests.

OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.2 released (Andreas Pieber - Mar 8, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.2.
This bug-fix release fixed various minor bugs in the current EKB creation, WSDL handling, and various big problems (speed, handling, querying, ...) we had with neodatis by replacing the library using a simple serializable database as a backend now which works ways better than the full blown object database for the use cases. In addition this release contains various bug-fix related dependency upgrades; namely CXF (2.5.2), PaxExam Karaf (0.5.1), OpenEngSB Root (32) and Pax Wicket (0.7.6).

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.1.
This release was manly required for the addition of the easy WSDL build configuration for domains. In addition a feature had been added making the OpenEngSB version available easily via an http service at e.g. localhost:8090/system/framework.version.info. The correlationId and replyQueue fields are now optionally supported if using JMS. In addition various minor enhancements to the documentation had been done and the build had been optimized further. Various bugs in runtime (jetty, archetypes, offline usagage) had been fixed.

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB 2.0.0.
The final release 2.0.0 of the Open Engineering Service Bus comes with OpenEngSB Framework 2.4.0 including a variety of new features: A general possibility to handle OAuth, now allowing connectors to e.g. Facebook and Twitter; A set of Karaf command line support (info, service, connector, domain); Implementation of the Engineering Database for version and storing models; A prototypic implementation of the Engineering Knoledge Base allowing to work with the models of tools and query against them; Minor enhancements in the administration UI (coloring, bug-fixes, ...); Java 7 compatibility; Full filter chains for the implementation of the remoting part making it possible to configure encryption, authentication, authorisation, and method calls quite easily; JPA support within the OpenEngSB; Possibility to create and change connector instances in configuration files. OpenEngSB Root 30 released (Andreas Pieber - Jan 04, 2011)

This release contains an important bug-fix to the configuration of the snapshot repositories. OpenEngSB Framework 2.3.0 released (Andreas Pieber - Jan 01, 2012)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.3.0.
The third feature release of the OpenEngSB framework contains various bugfixes already included in the minor releases of the the 2.2.x series. In addition the ModelFactory and ConnectorRegistrationManager had been deprecated. Thos should no longer be used. In addition this release finally contains the updated documentation and also deploy them again. For new features the command line interface had been extended; The EKB model had been extended and minor enhancements for domain and connectors had been added. The most important upgrades where done to CXF (2.5.1), Active MQ (5.5.1), and Karaf (2.2.5).

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Framework 2.2.2.
The second micro release of the OpenEngSB 2.2.x series contains 4 "direct" bug fixes and various indirect by upgrading various dependencies. The direct fixes include the correction of "getOpenEngSBModelEntries" for lists; A nullpointer in the test client UI; not enough perm space of the JRE. In addition we've upgraded Apache Karaf (2.2.5), OpenEngSB Root (28) and CXF (2.4.5) fixing various indirect bugs.

OpenEngSB Maven Plugin 2.3.0 released (Andreas Pieber - Dec 23, 2011)

The OpenEngSB team is pleased to announce the availability of the OpenEngSB Maven Plugin 2.3.0.
The third feature release cut from the 2.x release series comes with great new features concerning the documentation. With this plugin a new goal (extractSource) had been added which allows to tag source code and automatically generate docbook src from it. In addition we've upgraded various libraries and included the documentation now directly into the project. There's also a source package now providing the tagged source as is for building/modifying the plugin locally.

The 27th version of the openengsb-root pom file increases the support for the use of m2e. In addition the docbook configurations finally found their way into the root pom besides configuration for using the maven wagon plugin with the ssh protocol.
